The Adventure Continues!

Jan 17, 2015

Our adventure started on March 30th, in 2013. We had a dream. Our dream was to harness our love for KingsIsle games and project that to the community in a postive way. In the beginning, we were a small and unknown blog. Nearly two years later, and we have come so far and have had amazing support from the entire community in the process. With that, it brings us great pleasure to announce that Adventures of the Spiral is now an official Wizard101 fansite!

One year ago, in January 2014, we were asked by One-Eyed Jack to join the ranks of Pirate101’s official fansites. We had already created several post segments [Segments101], a complete Companion Database and plenty of posts about one of our favorite games [Pirate101 posts]. Becoming an official fansite allowed us to not only expand and improve on all of these aspects of Adventures of the Spiral, but also host more contests and become a greater part of the community!

Shortly after our Pirate101 success, we decided to take a similar approach to the Wizard101 portion of our site. We had interviews, recaps, and, of course…contests! Our biggest achievement on the Wizard side, however, is definitely our Fishing Database. Whether you’re just starting out or are an advanced angler, you can find practically anything you need about fishing on our complete database.

This week, we were asked by Dworgyn and Professor Greyrose to become an official Wizard101 fansite. All of us at AoS were thrilled to have received such a great opportunity, and we’re certainly planning to start off with a bang! We’re already part of the Fansite Festival, a party hosted by several fansites from both games to create a full day of fun in Wizard101 and Pirate101. We’re also planning to start up some more post segments soon, taking a closer look at some unexplored corners of the Spiral…

We would like to thank our readers for another great year at Adventures of the Spiral – we’ve already exceeded our own expectations in terms of Pirate101 content, and we will definitely continue to do so – now it’s time to further build on our Wizard101 content too!

We would like to also congratulate Johnny from Wizards of the Spiral for also becoming an official Wizard101 fansite!  Keep up the good work!
