Ahoy there! It’s that magical time of year where the ground freezes over and decorations light up every area of the Spiral as we get involved with all our favourite festivities. We’re now heading into our 8th year of AoS, and with it brings our 8th Annual Advent Contest to celebrate the holidays.

How it works:

We love holding this contest and we can’t wait to get awarding prizes. In case you’re not familiar with how we run this contest, we’re going to give you a quick run through:

• The Contest runs from December 1st to December 25th. As a result, all entries will need to be in by 11:59pm Central on Christmas Day (December 25th) in order to be eligible.
• To enter into the contest, you will need to tweet #25DaysofAoS20 along with your favourite thing about the Holidays in the Spiral (you only need to tweet once for the whole contest), or you can comment on THIS post (please also comment your Twitter Handle or Email so that we can get prizes to you if you are chosen through your comment entry). You get one entry for one tweet OR one comment, there are no additional entries available.
• Starting from December 1st, the Advent Page will update with the prize available for that day. If you’d like to get an idea of what we give away, you can see a full list of last year’s prizes here.
• In an effort to be fair, you can only win one day from December 1st to 24th, but ALL entries will be put into the draw for the December 25th prizes. Winners will be drawn the day AFTER the prize for that day is announced, ie. the December 1st winner will be announced on December 2nd. Winners will be announced via our Twitter and in this post.
• If you are entering via Twitter or commenting your Twitter handle in the comments, you must be following our Twitter in order to be eligible.
• As always, all entries (regardless of where you enter) are subject to our Contest Policy rules, along with any other additional rules mentioned within this post.
