It has been 10 years since Humble Misty started playing Pirate101 with her friend Little Libby Liston. There are a few funny things that have happened during their playtime. It seems Smiling Scarlet (Humble Misty) and Little Libby have the same taste in mounts, pets, and armor. In most of the pictures seen of them, their outfits, hats, and weapons seem to be the same, let alone mounts and pets. Little Libby Liston and Smiling Scarlet Scupper love their cats!

Where did they get their cats, you ask?

When items go on sale, they tend to buy cute things not knowing the other is also doing the same thing. First, they go to the Crown Shop, on the top buttons you will see a green crown with a “C” in the middle. Click on that and then on Crown Shop. 

Once in the shop, the featured Items will appear. Click on the item you want to buy and the button “Buy” in the right-hand bottom corner. Note: Some things you can buy with gold so make sure you choose “Shop with Crowns” or “Shop with Gold”. Usually, for pets and mounts, Crowns are needed to make a purchase.

When looking at the Crown Shop, There are multiple buttons at the top. When choosing one of the buttons (left to right) items for that category will appear: 

• Featured: This is where you find the sales items in every group below. They are all in one place!
• Buy Gold: This is the place to go if you need to buy gold.
• Mounts: All the available mounts and costs are listed here.
• Mount rentals: If you want to try out a mount for a while, you can rent one in this tab. You can also rent a mount downstairs on Skull Island. The Rental Merchant sits around the corner outside the Kraken Skull Tavern.
• Companions: If there is a special Companion you want, you might want to look here. Not all characters are available to you. Some Companions are unlocked in your quest line.
• Henchmen: If you are in a battle and need some quick help, you can rent one while in a fight. You need to have Crowns to shop for them.
• Pets: This is my favorite spot. My friend and I love to see what’s new and buy a new pet to train. We usually do this early on when we start a new Pirate. That way, we can train them up as our pirates progress.
• Packs: Any pack items you can buy here – Remember, you aren’t guaranteed anything in these packs. If you are lucky you will get a mount or your favorite housing item, weapon, or armor. I usually wait until they go on sale and have some fun!
• Houses: Here you will find a collection of places you can buy. Note: Make sure you are buying with gold and not crowns. Save your crowns for the more important stuff that you can’t buy with gold.
• Housing Items: Furniture, portals, fountains, and lots of fun stuff to decorate your house is on this tab. There are things you can buy with gold and others to buy with Crowns. Enjoy Decorating your land!
• Ships: Certain ships can only be bought in the Crown Shop. If you are a ship-extraordinaire, this is the place for you! 
• Ship Equipment: You come here to upgrade and buy your special ship parts. Throughout the spiral, you will find the standard everyday gear to decorate your ship, but this tab is for the fashion-wars type Pirate!
• Clothing: This is a place to get the special outfits you have always been wanting. There are also Clothing vendors around the spiral where you can use your gold to buy when you are short of Crowns.
• Trinkets: Special Trinkets are in the Crown Shop. For normal trinkets, Vendors around the spiral are available for gold purchases.
• Weapons: The Unique Weapons are in the Crown Shop. There are vendors around the spiral where you can use your gold to buy other arms when out of Crowns.
• Elixirs: There are many elixirs in this tab including Energy Potions, Long-term Boost, Bank Expansion, and Nautical XP to name a few. These can only be bought with Crowns.

Now that we know where to buy all of our goodies, the next step is to earn the money. Smiling Scarlet and Little Libby go off onto the Skyways and start completing their quests. Besides receiving gold, clothing, trinkets, and weapons the two pirates enjoy each other’s company in battle. The neat thing about quests where you have ship fights, you have a friend to help and also receive ship parts in the process. After a ship battle, the two head to the windlane where they are safe, and check to see if there is any stronger ship gear to equip their ships with. 

On land, Scarlet and Libby load up on their mounts and head to the next task. They always check to see if they have received any new gear that would better suit the next quest. As both of them are looking, they pick a new weapon and upon closing their inventory, they find they picked the same weapon. After 10 years of playing, they always laugh at their choices.

Smiling Scarlet and Little Libby have a tremendous time playing and enjoying Pirate101.  They both agree it makes the time in gameplay more fun when you have a cohort in pirating!
